Firefighters have located the source of the smoke, which was from a smoking machine in a butchers shop in the Wanniassa Shopping Centre.
A Wanniassa shopping centre is being evacuated after smoke was reported in the building.
The fire was completely extinguished earlier this morning.
The ACT Territory and Municipal Services Directorate (TAMS) will today, Tuesday 18 February, 2014, weather permitting, conduct two controlled burn
