The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 310 calls for help.
It has been reported that a dog has been washed down a drain in Chapman. A woman said that a cover had been left off a man hole near Perry Drive and the dog fell through.
Several people have received minor injuries from motor vehicles accidents, according to the ACT Ambulance Service.
No other injuries have been reported.
A severe weather warning is still in place and the ACTSES is monitoring storm cells in the across Canberra.
Volunteers, ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Territory and Municipal Services are working through the job list, 23 requests for assistance have been completed.
