ACT Fire & Rescue were called to a fire at a large abandoned building on the corner of Jinka Street and Walhallow Street in Hawker at approximately 9:30pm this evening.
ACT Fire & Rescue have extinguished the house fire on Inglewood Street, Gungahlin. All residents are accounted for and were not on the premises at the time of the fire.
The building has been ventilated and is now safe to reoccupy.
The lane closure on Northbourne Avenue has been reopened.
Firefighters are departing the scene.
