Update three - 240 calls to ACTSES for help

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 240 calls for help following storm damage.

No injuries have been reported to date.

Flooding has been the major concern for residents, with 131 jobs reported.

Two vehicles have been struck by trees and volunteers have responded to 23 calls for roof damage.

Motorists should also be careful with several trees fallen across roads.

On Gipps Street in Barton there have been reports of large branches in dangerous positions.

Tuggeranong has been most affected by storm damage with a total of 88 jobs, and 75 of those were for flooding. Kambah was the suburb hit the hardest with 32 calls recorded.

The severe weather warning remains in place for the ACT.

The Bureau of Meteorology has advised another storm cell will come through Canberra's north within the next half hour.
