ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) were called to a structure fire in Weedon Close, Belconnen at approximately 11:30pm on Wednesday 2 October. Firefighters in breathing apparatus entered a smoke filled structure and extinguished a battery operated recreational vehicle that had been left on charge. ACTF&R are currently conducting ventilation and atmospheric monitoring and the structure will be handed back to owners once operations are completed.
