Storm and Flood Assistance
Storms are currently passing through the ACT. These storms are bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds.
As a result of these strong winds a number of trees have fallen across roadways.
Canberra airport has recorded wind gust of up to 87km p/hr.
In the last hour ACT State Emergency Service received more than 50 requests for assistance, predominantly related to fallen trees.
These storms are expected to pass through the Territory quickly.
