Heavy rain predicted for ACT

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting heavy rainfall for the ACT during Wednesday and Thursday.

The ACT region is likely to see more than 50mm of rain and the Bureau is predicting over 100mm for some areas.

The community is encouraged to be storm ready. Secure any loose items around the home and ensure all gutters are clear.

For those with existing damage from recent storm events, please be sure to tarp any areas where water may leak through.
