Storm and Flood Assistance
Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in Narrabundah.
ACT Fire & Rescue was called to the incident just after 5:30pm.
The fire started in the kitchen and spread to the ceiling.
Three appliances are on scene and crews are checking for any hot spots.
One man safely evacuated and is being treated by intensive care paramedics. He will shortly be transported to the Canberra Hospital for further assessment for smoke inhalation.
