In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
Storm and Flood Assistance
ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) will tomorrow host the 18th Darren Wall Fun Run which marks 20 years since the passing of firefighter Darren Wall.
Darren was dedicated to his job and served the ACT community for more than 12 years with enthusiasm and effort that went beyond the call of duty.
Sadly, Darren suffered a fatal heart attack in 1999. His legacy, however, lives on in ACTF&R today.
The event tomorrow raises money for Soldier On, who support Emergency Services Agency personnel suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Participants can run or walk the five-kilometre course. Registration is from 9:30am with the event commencing at 10:00am in Kings Park opposite the Carillion.
