A malfunctioning light fitting has caused the evacuation of more than 50 people from the Kambah Professional Centre on Jenke Circuit.
Smoke from the light fitting activated an automatic fire alarm.
Occupants of the building self-evacuated.
ACT Fire & Rescue arrived on scene at approximately 2:30pm and quickly identified the source of the smoke.
Fire crews will conduct atmospheric monitoring before allowing the building to be reoccupied.
Two fire pumpers, a command vehicle, and HAZMAT are on scene.
