House fire in Macgregor

Firefighters have contained a fire to the bedroom of a house in Macgregor.

ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the incident in Berne Crescent just after 6 o'clock tonight.

Three fire trucks, breathing apparatus support van and commander are on scene.

Firefighters are working to fully extinguish the fire.

The occupants safely evacuated themselves from the burning building.
