Update - ACTSES responds to calls for help

The ACTSES has now received 116 calls for help since 5:30pm following wet weather.

Eight ACTSES teams along with crews from ACT Fire & Rescue and Transport Canberra and City Services are responding to jobs, with 32 complete.

The ACTSES urges Canberrans to stay clear of fallen power lines and trees and be aware that trees and branches could fall in windy conditions.
