City building evacuated

An office building in Civic has been evacuated following reports of smoke inside.

ACT Fire & Rescue responded to the Australian Tax Office premises in Narellan Street with multiple units just before 4:30pm.

The smoke has been isolated to a computer room on level two of the building.

Firefighters are currently searching for the source of the smoke.
