Update two - Fire in Bruce

A small fire was discovered in a transformer connected to lighting in the roof of the AIS Arena and quickly extinguished.

Damage has been contained to the immediate area surrounding the fire.

Firefighters have now started ventilating smoke from inside the arena.

ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the fire by staff who called Emergency Triple Zero (000).
