Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) is continuing to receive calls for help as a result of the storm yesterday.
The total number currently stands at 593 with 182 still outstanding.
A crew changeover has just occurred at 5 o'clock with ACTSES units, ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters and TAMS teams working tonight to deal with the remaining jobs.
This includes fallen trees and branches and cleaning up debri from foot and bike paths as well.
A severe storm warning is current for the ACT and surrounding region for the next several hours.
