Smell of smoke prompts emergency triple zero (000) call

Seven people have safely self evacuated themselves from a home in Deakin after coming home to the smell of smoke inside.

ACT Fire & Rescue responded immediately to the Robe Street property after recieving an emergency triple zero (000) call from one of the householders just before 8:00pm.

Firefighters are currently investigating the source of the smoke.
