Update six - 214 calls for help following wet and windy weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 214 calls for help since midnight this morning following the wet and windy weather.

ACTSES volunteers, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service volunteers and the Territory and Municipal Services Directorate will work through the night to complete five outstanding jobs.

Majority of calls are for trees and branches across roads and pathways with some also across vehicles and properties.

No major damage.

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
