The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 24 calls for help since 7.30am following todays windy weather.
Majority of calls have been for trees and branches across roads and pathways across a widespread area of Canberra. Some minor damage also to some properties and vehicles.
Residents who require assistance from damaged trees can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
