Storm and Flood Assistance
Advice from the Bureau of Meteorology suggests that the trough and rain band will begin to move slowly to the northeast and weaken later today and into tomorrow.
Rainfall will cease in the ACT once this trough moves away. The rainfall is expected to become light this afternoon and clear tonight.
ACTSES volunteer crews with the support of ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service are continuing to work across the Canberra community. 894 calls for help have been received since 3pm Tuesday. Crews will aim to complete 52 outstanding jobs today.
Residents who need flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
