The Bureau of Meteorology has re-issued a Severe Weather Warning for Flash Flooding in the ACT and parts of NSW.
Advice from the Bureau of Meteorology suggests that the trough and rain band will begin to move slowly to the northeast and weaken later today and into Monday.
Rainfall will cease in the ACT once this trough moves away. The rainfall is expected to become light in the afternoon and clear in the evening. The ACT can expect around from 15 - 35mm of rain throughout the day today
ACTSES volunteer crews with the support of ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service are continuing to work across the Canberra community. 799 calls for help have been received since 3pm Tuesday.
There are currently 57 jobs outstanding. Today, crews have attended to at least two tree damage jobs with the majority of calls for minor flooding around properties.
