Woman and child injured in collision between car and motorbike at Bonython

A woman and her son have been injured in an accident involving a car and motorbike at Bonython this afternoon.

The ACT Ambulance Service was called to Hurtle Avenue at 12:30pm.

Intensive care paramedics arrived to find a woman with serious lower leg injury and an 11 year old boy with minor injuries. Both had come off the motorbike.

They were stablised on scene then taken by the ACT Ambulance Service to the Canberra Hospital, the woman in a serious condition while the boy was listed as stable.
