ACTF&R have now extricated one male occupant from a small pantech truck.
 
A female driver of the second motor vehicle has been assessed by ACTAS Paramedics and refused transport to hospital. One male has been transported to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
 
ACTAS has left the scene. ACTF&R remain on scene to make the area safe.
 
Two northbound lanes of Melrose Drive are currently closed. Launceston Street is open to traffic.
 
The community is being asked to avoid the area while emergency services make the scene safe.

ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS), ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and ACT Policing are currently attending to a two vehicle motor vehicle incident at the intersection of Melrose Drive and Launceston Street at Lyons.

ACTF&R are working to extricate one person from a small pantech truck.

The driver of the second motor vehicle is being assessed by ACTAS Paramedics.

One northbound lane of Launceston Street is currently closed. 

The community is being asked to avoid the area while emergency services make the scene safe.
