Structure Fire - Questacon

The Questacon carpark, Parkes Place West and Mall Road West are all now open following a structure fire at Questacon earlier today.

The fire was believed to be started by an electrical fault and caused minor damage to the building.

A small structure fire has occurred at Questacon the National Science and Technology Centre causing road closures in the area.

The fire is now extinguished and there is no danger to the community at this time, however the community is asked to avoid the area to allow emergency services to complete their work.

The Questacon carpark, Parkes Place West and Mall Road west are all currently closed.

ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Policing are on scene.
