Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the ACT

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the ACT. Storms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to localised flash flooding over the next several hours.

It is important you take precaution early to prevent any damage to your home.

- Move your car under cover and away from trees.

- Secure or put away loose items around your house and yard.

- Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.

- Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater.
