Two prescribed burns will be taking place this weekend at the following locations:
Saturday 12 April 2025
Camp Cottermouth, Stromlo
This burn will begin at 11am and run for approximately 4 hours.
Sunday 13 April 2025
Corner of Gecko Way and Horse Park Drive, Throsby
This burn will begin at 10am and run for approximately 6 hours.
Smoke and flames may be visible while these burns are underway.
These burns are being managed by the ACT Rural Fire Service and are an important tool for managing our land and reducing fire risk.
Call Triple-Zero (000) if you see an unattended fire.
