Persistent rainfall and increased winds for the ACT

The @Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting persistent rainfall and increased winds across eastern districts for the ACT throughout the day and continuing into the early hours of Sunday morning.

The ACT State Emergency Service advises the community to:

- Move indoors.

- Move your car under cover and away from trees.

- Secure or put away loose items around your house and yard.

- Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.

- Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater.
