Heavy rainfall for the Southern ACT and surrounding region

What is happening?

The Bureau of Meteorology has issue a severe thunderstorm warning for slow moving clusters of thunderstorms which may produce locally heavy rainfall for the Southern areas of the ACT and surrounding region.

What you should do:

-It is important you take precaution early to prevent any damage to your home.

-Clean your gutters.

-Move your car under cover and away from trees.

-Secure or put away loose items around your house and yard.

-Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.

-Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater.
