Be Emergency Ready Day is coming up on Saturday, 29 October 2022

Are you ready for the hazard season? 

 

Our volunteers and staff are dedicated to ensuring the ACT is prepared for any emergency, but we need your help! We're ready when Canberra prepares together. 

 

All members of the Canberra community are invited to attend Be Emergency Ready Day at a location near you. The family-friendly event is an opportunity to meet some friendly volunteers, learn about emergency services, and prepare your home for the season ahead, all while having a bit of fun! 

 

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM 

 

Molonglo ACTRFS Brigade - 25 Drake Brockman Dr, Holt 

Tuggeranong ACTSES Unit - 51 Johnson Dr, Calwell 

Stromlo Forest Park - Criterion Pavilion 

Gungahlin Town Centre - Near the Marketplace playground

All school-age students and junior emergency services members are invited take part in our colouring activity. 

 

How to Participate 

Download and print the colouring-in sheet using the button 

Customise your design and make it as colourful and creative as you like! 

Submit your design at your local Be Emergency Ready Day – include your name, age and contact details 

 

We’ll pick our favourite design, and the winner will receive a visit to their school or organisation from Paddy & Ember! 

 

We all play a part in the preparedness of our community; we can't wait to see you there!
