In a ceremony yesterday, 38 members from ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) and ACT Parks and Conservation Service were recognised for their dedication and commitment in keeping the community safe.
Award recipients have all contributed more than a decade to bushfire protection in the local community.
The Long Service Medal is a small token of appreciation for the sacrifice emergency personnel make in the protection of life, property, and the environment daily.
