ACT Rural Fire Service are continuing operations at the bush fire burning at Square Rock, Corin.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire remains at ADVICE.
Crews are on the ground actively engaging in suppression activities with four helicopters providing aerial support and conducting water bombing. Crews will be on the ground overnight to continue suppression efforts.
Further firefighting crews are being coordinated to take advantage of favourable weather conditions expected for tomorrow.
The fire is located east of Corin Dam. Corin Road west of Woods Reserve remains closed until further notice. Woods Reserve camping area remains open and ACT Parks and Conservation Service rangers will continue to provide information to campers throughout the day.
The fire is approximately approximately 12 hectares in size and is being controlled.
The fire is burning at a slow rate and is heading in a south-westerly direction.
