House fire in Isaacs

ACT Fire & Rescue have responded to a house fire in Isaacs shortly after midday on Sunday afternoon.

The fire was caused by an outdoor gas cooker which was left unattended, and damage was contained to the pergola.

Two pumpers, a HAZMAT vehicle and a Commander were in attendance. There were no injuries.

ACT Fire & Rescue would like to remind the community "Don't stop looking while you're cooking".
