Update - Fallen trees across the ACT

The ACT Emergency Services Agency has received 24 requests for assistance since 11:00am following hot and windy conditions.

Most incidents involve fallen trees across roads and rooftops.

Earlier today the ACT Ambulance Service treated a male after a tree branch crashed through the windscreen of his vehicle. He was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The ACT State Emergency Service reminds residents to call 132 500 for non-life threatening emergency incidents. For life-threatening emergencies call Emergency Triple Zero (000).
