ESA bushfire - ADVICE

The ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT Fire & Rescue are working to extinguish a bushfire burning close to Florey Drive and Ginninderra Drive.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

There are five units on scene.

The fire is located near the Charnwood Playing Fields.

The fire is approximately 50m x 50m in size and is being controlled.

The fire is burning at a slow rate and is heading in an easterly direction.

The Fire Danger Rating where this fire is burning is VERY HIGH.

Fires burning in VERY HIGH conditions can be difficult to control - flames may burn into the treetops.

Well prepared and actively defended houses can offer safety during a fire.
