Black Mountain bushfire quickly extinguished

Firefighters are mopping up after extinguishing a bushfire on Black Mountain Peninsula.

ACT Fire Fire & Rescue was alerted to the incident on Lady Denman Drive at 6:15pm.

They responded immediately with one fire truck and light unit along with a heavy tanker front m the ACT Rural Fire Service.

Fire crews were able to quickly put out the fire which measured approximately 10 metres x 50 metres.
