The ACT Government’s effort to attract more female firefighters is continuing with applications now open for the next ACT Fire & Rescue Recruit College.
“Advertisements have been published online today including on the JOBS ACT website,” ACT Fire & Rescue A/g Chief Officer Ron Weston said.
“The government has funded 16 places in ACT Fire & Rescue College 39 and applications will be accepted until 9:00am on Monday 18 September,” he said.
“Again the government is committed to half of the 16 places available being filled by women who demonstrate their ability to meet the necessary standards to become a firefighter.”2017_-_003_ESA_Media_Release-Applications_open_for_new_ACT_Fire_Rescue_recruits
