Update three - ADVICE - Bushfire in southern ACT

The ACT Rural Fire Service has now brought a bushfire burning at Booth in the far south of the ACT under control.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire remains at ADVICE.

A number of fire tankers and the aircraft have now left the scene.

A few fire crews will remain on scene until late tonight extinguishing hot spots.

Fresh crews will then return in the morning to assess the situation.

The fire is located south of Tharwa, on the western slopes adjacent to Caloola Farm.

The fire is still approximately 12 hectares in size.

There is no property under threat at this time.
