Car fire in Richardson extinguished

Firefighters have extinguished a car fire in Clift Crescent, Richardson.

ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the incident at 5.09pm and responded a short time later with two fire pumpers.

A vehicle in the backyard of the property was well alight when crews arrived and their quick action ensured the blaze did not spread to the house

All damage was limited to the vehicle itself and, to a lesser extent, the back fence of the property.
