Possible smoke visible across the ACT following hazard reduction burn in NSW

The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will from today, Thursday 5 March, 2015, begin a hazard reduction burning program in the Southern Ranges, with fuel reduction underway at Jounama in central-northern Kosciuszko National Park.

Smoke may be visible from Canberra in coming days.
