The fire has been extinguished after burning an area approximately 100 metres x 100 metres.
The fire was located across the road from the Burgmann Anglican School, between the Valley Way and Gundaroo Drive, not at the school as previously reported.
Multiple units from ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service attended.
Firefighters are now undertaking mopping up on scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
