Fire in Crace medical centre

Investigations are underway into a fire at a medical centre that is under construction in Crace.

Firefighters extinguished a small fire just after 9pm, and there has been minor damage to the building.

Two people, who were walking past, attempted to extinguish the fire themselves. They have been treated by ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics.

Three ACT Fire & Rescue crews and a commander responded to the incident.

Ventilation operations are now underway.
