Caravan fire in Fyshwick

A fire in a caravan in Canberra's south this evening has been deemed suspicious.

Firefighters were called to the Canberra South Motor Park in Fyshwick at 8:21pm following an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call by a patron.

One occupant self-evacuated before emergency services arrived.

Two pumpers, the Breathing Apparatus Van and a commander attended.

ACT Fire & Rescue were able to contain the fire to the caravan.

The matter has since been handed to ACT Policing.
