Update - 17 calls for help following wet and windy weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 17 calls for help since 10 o'clock today following the wet and windy weather.

ACTSES volunteers, ACT Fire & Rescue and crews from the Territory and Municipal Services Directorate have responded to fallen trees and branches across roads and pathways, as well as leaking roofs.

Majority of jobs have been in Canberra's north. Minor damage reported.

Residents who need storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
