Update - Fire on Sheppard Street, Hume

ACT Fire & Rescue have extinguished a fire believed to have started in a conveyer belt, at a paper recycling business in Hume.

Eight employees self evacuated from the building during the incident.

ACT Intensive Care Paramedics are treating two patients for smoke inhalation, both are in a stable condition.

Investigation into the cause of the blaze will continue.
