Update seven on calls for help following storms

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received 131 calls for help as a result of the storm activity.

ACTSES volunteers, ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service will work through the night to complete 40 outstanding jobs.

Majority of jobs are for leaking roofs, flooding in basements and garages as well as trees and branches down across roads and pathways.

Approx 50 per-cent of jobs in the Woden Valley area with the remainder of jobs spread across the A.C.T.
