Update five on calls for help following storms

The Bureau of Meteorology has reissued the Severe Weather Warning for the ACT for the next two hours.

ACT State Emergency Service has received 86 calls for help as a result of the storm activity.

ACT SES volunteers, ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service are continuing to respond with reports of widespread flooding across Canberra.

Residents who require assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
