The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) Jerrabomberra Brigade will conduct a hazard reduction burn tonight, Thursday 24 November, 2011 weather permitting, near Jerrabomberra Ave, Symonston.
The burn will commence from 7pm till 9pm.
Three heavy tankers, two light units and 20 personnel will conduct the burn covering a total area of approx 20 metres x 80 metres.
The purpose of the burn is to reduce a fire hazard and a training opportunity for volunteers.
