The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) advises that the grassfire at Murrumbidgee River, near Stony Creek Nature Reserve has been extinguished. Firefighters will remain on scene to patrol the area. People in the remote area of Mt Stromlo could be affected by a grassfire. If you are in the areas of Wright, Denman Prospect or Coombs you need to stay up to date and monitor conditions. No properties are under threat at this time. Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you or your property is under threat. Current situation: The fire is being controlled and firefighters are on scene. The size of the fire is currently 20m x 20m. Under current weather conditions, the fire is easy to control.
