Update - grass fire - Pine Island

The grass fire has been extinguished.

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service are working together to ensure all embers are completely out.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency thanks the community members who acted quickly to report the fire to Triple Zero (000).

The cause of the fire will be investigated.

Crews will remain on scene until it is safe.
