In a life-threatening emergency call Emergency Triple Zero (000)

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received 45 Requests For Assistance (RFA) following storm activity currently impacting the ACT. ACTSES expect the number of RFAs to increase throughout the evening. A majority of call outs have been for support with water in roof cavities, skylight and roof damage and localised flooding. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a cell based weather warning and road weather alert for Canberra. Slippery roads and reduced visibility in heavy rain with thunderstorms can make driving conditions dangerous. Motorists are advised to take extreme care. If you need assistance with damage from storms or floods call ACTSES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency call Emergency Triple Zero (000).
