Community information

The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) is committed to providing the community with access to information to help them prepare and respond to emergency threats and situations as they occur throughout the Territory.

Providing this information can help reduce the impact an emergency may have on the community by ensuring residents are adequately prepared and able to take appropriate action, if and when, asked to do so by the ESA.

The section of the ESA website sets the different types of information we provide to the community.

This includes what to do to prepare for threats such as bushfire, a medical emergency, storms, floods, house fires, real time alerts and updates on emergency incidents, emergency warnings, plans and reports.

The information contained on this website is all accessible to people from non-english backgrounds in various languages by using the special Google Translation Tool.
